Market on the Green—Mountain Park Lake

Last Saturday I set up at the park in Mountain Park and sold artwork. It was the first market and they are planning a monthly thing. I did not sell much, but it sure was interesting. I had a table with about 25 or 30 paintings of all shapes and sizes. Most was old stuf, but I also my recent Plein Air from the area in the hopes that someone might "have to have" that painting of their house. Well, no one did, but I did sell some inexpensive prints. I had made them in the last hours just to have something to giveaway. The nice thing was that I had several friends stop by and sit with me plus Penny, the girls, Dan and of course, Coleman. In the end I sat around with Skeeter Roark and some new friends exchanging peaches for prints and drinking some wine while the sun set. It was a nice afternoon in the park along with meeting some new people. I did do this painting while I was there—which was fun while people walked around, wasn't really nervous at all. But —do it again? Not at Mountain Park.
