This is the entire painting which is 41.5 x 72". I'm sorry I waited to show it all together but it's a lot of work to just throw on one blog entry. This is the third and largest of these steampunk paintings that I have finished in the last year or so. These concepts evolved from drawings I did long ago for a comic strip. My intent is not to tell stories I am more interested in making the viewer make his own conclusions.

Hey Ed,
A blast from the past. I like your steam punk stuff cause it reminds me of things you did at school. I also like your landscapes cause they are a) awesome and b) so different from anything I had ever seen you produce before. (of course its been a long time - I still have your Egyptian pyramid print - and Penny's girl in the garden)
I stopped by your studio project last fall (labor day)on a cycle trip to the "dragons tail". Was hoping to surprise you and Penny while you were enjoying your hideaway. Sorry things have not progressed as planned. It will be great, I'm sure, in due time. I took a few pics while I was there and some day perhaps I'll get to stop by again and compare. Hope your all well.
